Drake Staffing & Search Groups provides a Premier Executive Search Division. For over twenty years, we have specialized in the assessment and acquisition of human talent.

Charles Drake : Owner
Charles DrakeIn 1992, Charles purchased a franchise from Snelling & Snelling and opened an office in West Des Moines, Iowa. In 1997, he moved the office within Des Moines feeling that a central location was more suited to servicing the metro area for Contract Labor and Trial-To-Hire needs.

During his time as a franchisee of Snelling & Snelling Charles was elected to serve on the National Franchisee Advisory Board, which provided advice to Snelling and acted as liaison with the franchisees. From this experience, Charles gained a large number of contacts on a national basis that he utilizes for advice and information.

In August 2003, Charles purchased a building at 3810 Ingersoll and moved the staffing firm in January of 2004. In October of 2006 he came to an agreement with Snelling & Snelling, which allowed him to buy out the franchise agreement while maintaining the staffing company.

Today, the company is proudly known as Drake Staffing & Search Groups. A full service staffing firm offering Contract Labor, Trial-To-Hire and Executive Recruiting. Charles prefers to think of the service his company provides as an extension of the client businesses being served.


Angie Camp: Employment Specialist

Staffing Coordinator for Drake Staffing, Angie is available to help with your job search and staffing needs. Angie assists both the applicant in their search for work and the client to find the best candidate. Through general testing and careful interviewing, Angie supplies Drake Staffing clients with the strongest and most qualified applicants. Angie has become the extension for many of Drake Staffing’s clients, working closely with them, to know what their clients require in skills and qualifications for the positions to be filled. At times, she has to provide quick placements in the fast paced companies served; clients who have put their trust in our hands to provide quality staffing needs.


Zabrina Madison: Payroll Specialist

Zabrina is in charge of handling payroll and company invoicing.  Zabrina coordinates with our payroll company to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.  Zabrina processes all invoicing for our client companies ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.  As payroll specialist Zabrina is busy maintaining client account and reports.  In addition to her payroll duties she also assists with staffing positions when the need arises.


Brenda Madison: Account Manager

As account manager, Brenda is responsible for assisting our clients in all aspects of our service. Brenda gathers workforce needs information, maintains contact with clients during the search process, after the candidate has been placed and beyond, always striving to develop and maintain a good working relationship. She reaches out to other decision makers within our partnerships to offer our services and information on the many areas we are capable of providing support and workforce solutions. Brenda also researches potential new client companies and offers our services in assisting their search in acquiring skilled qualified employees on either a temporary, temp to hire or a permanent placement.


Kendra Hughes: Sales and Recruiting Specialist

Kendra proactively researches companies that would benefit from partnering with Drake Staffing & Search Groups. Kendra will utilize all resources at her disposal to connect with key position holders, develop strategies that will address their workforce issues and build a solid, long term equally-valuable partnership. Kendra maintains the confidence of our clients by following up with any and all decision makers and department heads with which Drake is involved and diligently pursues client's complete satisfaction in their relationship with the Drake Staffing team. Kendra also heads up the search and acquisition of top talent for the candidate pool through marketing on various job boards, social media sites and through numerous commercial, private and personal avenues.
